As I’m sure any seasoned Disney fan knows, there are plenty of things you can do at WDW where you don’t necessarily need to spend money, or at least, plenty of Disney themed things you can do without an entry ticket. Visiting the hotels is big one of these, but there are several others too such as Celebration, Disney’s own town, which I’ll post about at some point, and the one I’m talking about today: Disney’s BoardWalk.
I thought I’d start off this blog with a few more personal style posts – so you can get to me and what I love about Disney, while getting a look at some of the things the parks have to offer. After that, we can get into more in depth tips and guides, but it’s nice to start at the very beginning!
First things first, I love ALL of Magic Kingdom. For me, it’s not just about the rides and things to do, but the things to see and absorb around the Disney parks. But what would the parks be without the attractions that fill up the day?! It’s difficult to choose just a few, but I’ve gone for the ones that I would be most sad to miss out on a trip to Magic Kingdom – whether they’re a thrill ride, something with lots to see, or just one that’s a little bit nostalgic for me.
Pirates of the Caribbean
Pirates of the Caribbean is just such a classic! It’s been a typical Disney ride for as long as I can remember – ever so slightly scary, but not so scary or with too many “drops” (just some slightly sped up hills) that it would upset a child. I love Disney boat rides – it’s just the smell of the Disney water I think, does anyone else understand this?!
